When Then Project is a software company dedicated to helping first responders prepare for Critical Incidents. Our software is designed to help first responders think strategically and creatively when responding to these life changing events.
We challenge first responders to think beyond stopping the immediate threat and to consider the broader context of the situation. We equip first responders with the knowledge and skills they need to manage the entire scene, from beginning to end.
Our training style emphasizes speed, efficiency, and effectiveness, so first responders can get the training they need to protect themselves and the public.
Train First Responders to prepare for Critical Incidents.
We're dedicated to improving decision-making and preparing first responders for critical incidents. Our software is designed with these goals in mind, providing first responders with a platform to think critically and creatively, and giving them the training they need to respond effectively in high-pressure situations. Our focus on critical incidents reflects the serious threat these incidents pose to public safety and our commitment to keeping officers and communities safe.
The When Then Project was born out of a deep desire to improve the way law enforcement agencies prepare for and respond to active shooter incidents. Our co-founder is an active-duty police officer who recognized that the existing training methods were often too complicated, too expensive, too resource intensive, and too time-consuming for many departments to implement effectively. Moreover, many existing training methods were limited in their scope and failed to focus on the entirety of an effective response.
With limited time, money, and resources, our co-founder saw an urgent need for a more efficient and effective way to prepare officers for these challenging and potentially deadly situations. Drawing on his experience as a law enforcement administrator, our founder began to develop a new approach to critical incident training: one that was simple, affordable, and highly effective.
Over time, this vision evolved into the When Then Project - a cutting-edge software platform designed to help first responders think critically and creatively and to prepare for critical incidents.
